The teaching space of this department includes 5 teaching laboratories, 1 forest seed specimen laboratory, 7 teachers' research rooms, Huagang Nursery and Hualin Ecological Park. In order to cooperate with academic teaching and research in the future, it is planned to adjust or plan professional research rooms of various disciplines from the existing space or newly added space, including ecological environment conservation research room, plant biotechnology research room, multi-objective sustainable utilization research room and nature Resource Management Research Office.

In terms of teaching facilities, in addition to the existing general teaching and experimental equipment, it is planned to cooperate with the research laboratories to purchase additional related equipment, mainly including GIS software, hardware, and computer facilities. In terms of books, in addition to the books in the main library of the school, there are more than 3,000 domestic and foreign books and periodicals in the library of the department. In the future, we will continue to collect books related to natural sciences, management sciences and social sciences at home and abroad.

The existing relevant teaching resources of the department include supporters from related institutions in the school, such as the Institute of Biotechnology, the Department of Horticulture, the Department of Biology, the Department of Landscape Science, the Department of Geography, the Department of Land Resources, and the Department of Horticulture, etc. In addition, the department cooperates with the school's "Digital Earth Center" to establish the Hualin Ecological Park's natural ecological database and educational interpretation information system, and jointly implement research projects in line with the overall development of the school. Other related institutes in China include the Department of Forestry of National Taiwan University, Department of Forestry of National Chung Hsing University, Department of Forestry of Chiayi University, Department of Materials Science of Chiayi University, Department of Forestry of Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Department of Forestry of National Yilan Institute of Technology, and Natural Sciences of National Donghua University. The department integrates the above teaching resources to provide students with a more diverse, pragmatic and in-depth learning environment. In order to enable students to have the opportunity to verify the theoretical knowledge acquired in the classroom, and cooperate with the above-mentioned off-campus institutions to expand students' off-campus internship opportunities.

In addition to the nearby Yangmingshan National Park, which is the place for the department’s usual practice courses, the department also has the Hualin forest practice field near the Feicui Reservoir in Xindian City, Taipei County as an internship site. The Hualin forest practice field is only a few meters away from downtown Taipei It is 20 kilometers away, with convenient transportation, beautiful scenery, and very convenient research and practice. Since the 1989 of the Republic of China, the park has participated in the "Forest Ecosystem Management" integrated research project promoted by the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan. It is the only ecosystem management demonstration zone located in the suburbs of the country, and has achieved good research results so far. In the future, it is expected to become a model for promoting ecological education and environmental forestry in China. In some areas of the park, the Hualin Botanical Garden of Cultural University was planned to be established in 1991. Areas for species protection, medicinal plants, ecological pools, rare tree species, flower viewing plants, and fruit picking were set up in the park to provide students with more ecology. Conservation, leisure and recreation management and other study courses. Students will also be engaged in the training of ecological interpretation, to cultivate talents of ecological interpretation for the country and to provide students with another employment opportunity in the future.
